Velvet-purple Coronet (Limited Edition Print)

The Velvet-purple Coronet is a medium-sized hummingbird found in the Andes in Colombia and Ecuador.
In low light it appears black, but in sunlight it turns into a dazzling gem with a purple belly and crown, turquoise sides, and greenish wings.

This original illustration was created with professional, lightfast coloured pencils and acrylic paint on drafting film.

Colours may vary slightly due to differences in monitor calibrations.

All prints are personally signed and numbered and come with a certificate of authenticity.

Note that it will be sent unframed (the room images here are examples only).

Prints are ordered on demand from my professional fine art printer in Melbourne, Australia so please allow up to three weeks for delivery.
Depending on the size of your print and your location, your print will be carefully packaged in either a rigid tube (rolled) or in a box (matboard version) and sent with tracking.
