Black-billed Mountain-toucan (Limited Edition Print)

The spectacular Black-billed Mountain-toucan occurs montane forests in Colombia, Ecuador, Peru, and Venezuela. It is usually found in pairs or in small family groups, that forage for food in the forest's canopy, feeding on fruits and insects.

My inspiration for this piece (and the others in this series) is the historical bird illustrators of the 19th Century, particularly Edward Lear, Audubon and Gould.

The original illustration was created with professional, lightfast coloured pencils and acrylic paint on archival pastel mat board.
Colours may vary slightly due to differences in monitor calibrations.

All prints are personally signed and numbered and come with a certificate of authenticity.
Note that it will be sent unframed (the room images here are examples only).

Prints are ordered on demand from my professional fine art printer in Melbourne, Australia so please allow up to three weeks for delivery.
